Sabine’s home – 35 m2
Paris 3e, 2020
I wanted a very feminine flat with a touch of sophistication for Sabine, like a second skin tailored to her temperament. At each preparatory meeting, Sabine brought macaroons from a famous house. This was the starting point for the colours: blue, pink and pastel green.
This old-fashioned 35 m2 flat was completely redesigned and redistributed. My main brief was to make it a two-room apartment with a 1.60m bed in the bedroom. We removed all the small, dark rooms to open up the kitchen and the bedroom to the living room thanks to glass windows. The dressing room gives access to the bathroom. The flat has thus gained in fluidity and light. The soft colours, the bleached beams and parquet, and the pastel-coloured cement tiles give the apartment a light, spring-like atmosphere.
